A jewel in our small town. Overlooking Small Goose Creek. I stopped in on a whim and was greeted warmly and made to feel at home. Mudlark offers a variety of coffees, teas, confectioneries, and sandwiches in a spacious dinning area. The cinnamon muffins are a must, paired with a maple frothy coffee if you enjoy rich delights. There is a patio that overlooks the creek - serene and peaceful. Mudlark also has a drive thru alongside the parking lot. Great place to spend a gentle morning.

Cutest little old feel for a coffee shop. Got the large Blondie and Carmel latte with chicken salad sandwich. Service was quick and atmosphere was very nice.

I had to write a review about the staff! All of them are always so inviting and friendly. They make you feel like family when you are in there. And the variety of food and desserts is wonderful. But the beverages they make blow any other coffee stand out of the water! This is the place to go!! Jenny is the owner and she does such a magnificent job and is put a ton of work into mudlark. And it definitely shows!

They offer a delicious variety of food and drink options. Jenny and the staff are always glad to assist and greet you with a smile on their face. Atmosphere is perfect for enjoying a good book, game of cards or just sitting down and enjoying a delicious espresso and fresh out of the oven cinnamon roll!

Hartsville's hidden treasure!!! Oh, the food was excellent, and the drinks were even better... but the staff and atmosphere were the best So much larger than expected and perfect for private parties, too. The hard work that went into this new place is obvious, but the love that is invested can only be known when you talk with the owner... if you get the chance to talk with her. She's always back in the kitchen making everything with a little extra love.

Full disclosure: I was looking for mudflaps but due to my new optical prescription I misread my Google Maps result and ended up at Mudlark Cafe instead. (oops!) That'll be a discussion for my ophthalmologist. As far as the Mudlark Cafe is concerned... What a wonderful discovery! This place is great! The staff, the food, the atmosphere. The owner made a special "extra fiber" roast beef sandwich for me (chef's secret) on sourdough that was unforgettable! In addition, the lavender bread was perfect. A special shout out to the barista Leah. She's like The Dude's rug in The Big Lebowski. She "tied the room together". Wonderful place, I highly recommend it that you give them a visit.

This was our first time in here today and it was amazing. Great food, coffee and amazing cinnamon rolls. This is going to be our go to place for sure. Drive through will make it so convenient for commute to work. The inside is so cozy and relaxing. Can’t wait to try their packaged flavored coffee beans. Staff is so nice and helpful. Please come and support them. We want to keep them here. This is my new go to place for morning commute to work.
